Ask the Expert – With Dr. Ayonrinde

June 1st – 8pm EST Join US!

We are launching our “Ask the Expert” monthly series with a live interview with Dr. Ayonrinde who will be answering your questions about cannabis during isolation.

At Exploring the Link, we recognize that people have a lot of questions around cannabis and psychosis, and that sometimes the answers we’re looking for are hard to find, or may come from questionable sources.

Because of this, we have created a way for you to interact with leading experts in the fields of mental health, addictions, cannabis, and psychosis through our new Ask the Expert series. Ask the Expert will be a monthly Facebook Livestream where we find reputable sources to provide evidence based answers to your questions, live!

Join us for our first session, co-hosted by YouthRex, at 8pm EDT on June 1st and leave a comment with your question to Dr. Oyedeji Ayonrinde.

Dr. Oyedeji Ayonrinde is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario. He trained and worked at the Bethlem Royal and Maudsely Hospitals in the UK before moving to Canada. He has worked as the Medical Director of the Early Psychosis Intervention Program for South East Ontario – Heads Up! As a specialist in both addictions and psychiatry, Oyedeji has been actively involved in research and interventions aimed at awareness and reducing the risk of psychosis in youth and young adults. Oyedeji has additional qualifications in Research in Psychiatry (University College London), History of Medicine and an Executive MBA from Imperial College, London. He has received a number of knowledge and innovation awards including the Canadian Partners in Research, National Biomedical Science Ambassador Award (2019) for cannabis awareness initiatives.

See you on June 1st!
